Alderley Park
Alderley Park holds an international reputation for biotech and life science innovation in the UK.
Set within 400 acres, of Cheshire countryside, Alderley Park is a world-class life science research and development facility. It is one of the few facilities in the country with a comprehensive offering to support drug discovery and development and has a strong history of success.
The site currently offers around 190,000 sq m of premier scientific laboratory space, offices, restaurants, cafes, leisure facilities, conferencing space and is home to a cluster of over 150 businesses and a talent pool of approximately 3000 experienced staff.
Alderley Park is home to the BioHub; a specialist incubator for new and early stage biotech and life science businesses, offering the expertise and support required for business growth and an Open Access Lab with equipment provided by Waters.
Alderley Park has been selected by Government as the UK’s translational centre for anti-microbial resistance (AMR) and the base of Innovate UK’s Medicines Discovery Catapult.
Two venture funds, the £5m Alderley Park Ventures Fund and the £42m Greater Manchester and Cheshire Life Sciences Fund are also based at the Park.
A well connected and easily accessible site, Alderley Park is well-served by public transport with a direct service through the Park via the 130 bus and within 10 minutes by car of Wilmslow and Macclesfield Railway Stations.
