The Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership is a private sector-led organisation responsible for speaking on behalf of businesses, championing important issues with government and driving the economic growth of Cheshire and Warrington.Cheshire & Warrington has the best performing and fastest growing economy in the North of England with 871 square miles of enterprise.

The LEP works in partnership with local government, businesses, educational institutes and other public, private and community sector organisations making sure that the region is kept firmly on the map.

The Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub

The Growth Hub for Cheshire and Warrington is here to help established, young and potential new businesses develop and grow. The Growth Hub does this by simplifying access to support, providing locally sourced solutions and making best use of the region’s business assets.

As a First Stop Shop the Growth Hub aims to provide impartial, clear and expert support to help Cheshire and Warrington businesses get the best support and advice.

The Department for Communities and Local Government

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) is tasked with creating great places to live and work.  DCLG led the application and selection process of the Enterprise Zones and is supporting and promoting the delivery of the Cheshire Science Corridor Enterprise Zone.

There are now 46 Enterprise Zones established nationally.

Over the last four years, Enterprise Zones have attracted nearly 24,000 new jobs, 600 businesses and £2.4 billion of private sector investment.
